17 months old and 3,5 year old swimming Amelia 17 mos.old loves to swim and can stay under for about 10 sec., swim to the ladder, to the steps and jump in from sitting on the edge.
Nikolai 3,5 year old, can swim across the pool (30 ft) unaided mostly under water but comes up for breaths. Well considering that she can swim pretty well She's probably had lessons. Its a good thing to give your child lessons starting from about 8 months (which is mostly floating) so if they fall in a pool or in a body of water on accident they can float/swim and there's a less chance that they'll die.
